Fit for Kansas Kids: Calling Communities to Action RFP 2010

Use this online form to submit a proposal for Fit for Kansas Kids Funding. Please note the following key points and deadlines:
- This RFP differs from our usual process in that you do not need advance authorization to submit an application
- Organizations interested in applying for a Fit for Kansas Kids grant must complete
an online application (this form) by 5:00 PM September 30, 2009
- Health Ministry Fund staff and/or consultants may conduct a site visit between September 30th and November 10th as part of the review of your proposal.
- Funding decisions will be made by November 15, 2010 and Conditions of Grant (the legal grant document) will be issued before year-end.
- Once a project is approved, funding can begin as early as January 1,
2011.
- Health Fund staff are available to discuss your concept and answer questions prior to submitting a proposal. Please contact us with any
questions.

- The Health Fund has specific funding rules. To save unnecessary time and work, please be aware of the following:
- Kansas, USA only - Health Fund grants are for projects benefiting the health of Kansas residents. We do not fund projects for other U.S. states or foreign nations
- Strategic focus areas - we have focused our efforts on a select group of funding areas to achieve greater impact. Please refer to the RFP for specifics.
