The Healthy Congregations Recognition program, recognized Kansas United Methodist congregations for their efforts to nurture, reach out and educate through ministries of health, healing and wholeness. For 2009, the Recognition program has been superseded by the new Healthy Congregations Covenant program, with a simplified, new approach to foster greater participation and results. The Healthy Congregations Hall of Fame serves as an archive of the historic Recognition program. We hope you'll find it interesting and join us in the new Healthy Congregations Covenant program.

Highlighted Activities for Rose Hill UMC (2):
Activities listed below were specially chosen from among all reported activities for the listed year. These highlighted activities were featured in the Healthy Congregations recognition brochure for the listed year.
| Year | Highlighted Activities |
| 2001 | Rose Hill UMC has matched every young person in the church with an adult member to be lifted in prayer daily, making real the congregation's vow at the time of baptism to nurture the child's spiritual development. |
| 2006 | Rose Hill UMC: Parent's Night Out is open to church members as well as people from the community. It is free and offered on a Saturday night in December. The children are fed and then divided into groups and taken to various rooms for crafts, videos, games, and other activities. The parents are then free to spend the evening Christmas shopping, eating, watching a movie, or whatever they wish to do. They can drop their children off and pick them up anytime during the evening. This year 25 people helped with the evening and more than 75 children between the ages of 3 and 11 attended. |
