Healthy Congregations Report-Only option
The Healthy Congregations Report-Only option is designed for churches interested in health ministries but not yet ready to make the commitment to the Covenant program (see above). Participation in the report-only option is simple:
- Identify a "Health Ministry Coordinator" to serve as the leader for health ministries in the church.
- Complete a 2011 Healthy Congregations Report by the March 1, 2012 deadline and receive a $100 stipend to support health ministry work in the church.
The report asks you to share information on your church's 3-5 most successful health ministry activities from the past year. Healthy Congregations reports are shared online so that Kansas UMCs can learn from others' experiences and gain inspiration and new ideas for health ministry.
2012 Healthy Congregations Report-Only participant churches: Churches listed below have either started or completed a 2012 Healthy Congregations Report under the Report-Only option, or have participated in recent years. Upon completing a report by March 1, 2012, these churches will receive a $100 stipend to support health ministry work. The stipend may be used to purchase health ministry resources or support the church's health ministries in any way needed. |
